BenQ W6000 DLP Projector Repair / Troubleshooting

This BenQ W6000 was from a customer that purchased a lamp from my day job. The customer had a problem and sent it to BenQ. BenQ tried to blame our lamp for all sorts of unrelated problems. OEM companies like to blame aftermarket lamps. It's easy for them and most people buy into their lies.

This projector ended up having a totaly un-related issue. You will see damage that might have been from BenQ! Thanks for watching.

BenQ W6000 DLP Video Projector Repair / Evaluation- No lamp light

This BenQ W6000 suffered from an exploded lamp. After a new lamp was installed the projector did not light. The customer sent the projector to BenQ(who seemed to damage the housing). The projector was then sent to us as BenQ did not give the customer much confidence in their evaluation.
It ended up starting up without issue once I put a new lamp in.
