Hunter College is located on the Upper East Side of New York City. Today, the location of our main campus buildings and facilities place our students within walking distance or a subway ride away from some of the most world-renowned businesses for internships, research opportunities and job placement. In addition, the location of our main campus buildings allow students to explore areas such as Central Park, the Met, the Museum Mile, and other world famous NYC attractions.

In his third year at Hunter, Daniel is originally from Italy and transferred to CUNY from a university in Rome so he could pursue more diverse courses. He has a minor in Art History and is about to declare his major in Geography. Here is what Daniel wishes he had known before arriving at Hunter.
JoshDone : Hunter can provide an awesome education. If you are a from the midwest, or some other suburban nightmare, you may be in for a shock. For people like me, a native new yorker, Hunter provides a great experience for those that want it. the graduate school is also great.
Alexis Tomlin : You get free printing in thomas hunter. Im a freshman and Im enjoying my time in hunter. College isn't supposed to be easy and smooth, i do have moments when i get stressed, but overall, if you use the resources that they offer, like the tutoring centers, you'll be fine.
Clemente Diaz : Printing isn't free. It's paid by your technology fees.
Ana Paola White : Wish I had known that being a student was valued by my peers.

Riley Feeley : Hey man! Prospective SBU student here, I've watched a few of your videos over the past 9 months and I just had a few questions.


For a bit of background, I'm from Montana and I've liked Long Island for a long time, and Stony provides me with everything I could ever need to pursue what I want to with my education. My girlfriend (who is also from Montana) attends Columbia. I'm not sure if I'm assuming too much here, but you do have some sort of friendship/relationship with Theresa, and she has given Hunter College tours and what not on your channel. With that being said, do you travel to NYC often? How is the distance from the city to SBU? Do you drive, uber, or use public transportation? I understand that Columbia is a little bit farther away from Stony than Hunter is, but I'm just sleuthing to see how the travel is going to be next year for me and my girlfriend.


I appreciate you vlogging your experiences and opinions with Stony, and your videos and my campus visit were enough to sway me to apply in the first place.
