nismorg : Unit has been opened previously. Lcd connector on the board has a yellow ESD tape on it from factory. This was missing that tape. Also the lock switch on the top is screwed into the plate. His fell out the moment he popped the plate.

1st step after you take the screws out is unclip the click wheel flex at the bottom (before you start pulling the board out), or you will break the wheel flex cable.

BombDaBass2000 : sadly enough this video shows not all the steps with a NEW unopenend Ipod Nano..because.the screws are filled with adhessive glue..also the data cable and hold switch are badly glued on the board.. these are the hardest steps to get them loose..und u will ruin the cables 90% ... it looks easy with this and other videos..but after 10 years..on my ipod the glue became a pain in the ass..
