MacBook Air M1 - DSC - 4K144 HDR

Turns out that thanks to the MacBook Air M1 supporting Display Stream Compression (DSC), a 4K 144hz HDR monitor that also supports DSC over DisplayPort 1.4 can live up to it's full potential.

The monitor used in my tests was the LG 27GN950-B. Be aware monitors that support Display Stream Compression (DSC) are VERY rare at the moment.

Below are some cables and devices I own, and have personally verified can pass on a full 4K 144hz HDR signal to the monitor above using Display Stream Compression (DSC).

Naing Htet Soe Yi : I own MacBook Pro 16" 2021 M1 model . Then I used usb c to display port cable (j5create0 for my external display Aorus FV43U monitor. I've mange to get 4K at 120hz. However colour has been washed out when I enable HDR. Is it because of my cable or the Mac OS bug ?
