The EG Athens is an extremely affordable, handsome and feature rich (fenders, lights, rear rack) city style electric bike. Only available in medium size, black color, low-step frame style and currently more difficult to find at US dealers. Rear heavy design with motor and battery at the back, weaker than similar ebikes with a 250 watt motor, key must be left in battery to operate the bike which can jingle or get bumped more easily.

Rachel Canterbury : I bought this bike about 3 months ago, partially influenced by this video actually. So far I would give it a solid B or about an 84 out of 100. In the hot weather the plastic on the rear red light has bubbled a little, and part of the front light's securer fell off when the bike fell over. I fixed that with a zip tie, and it's. non issue. One thing is that the deflopilator is very useful. because of the way the bike stand works. I installed a front bike basket onto my handlebars, and if anything is in it, the handbags will swing around backwards. One of my favorite features is the built in bungee cord strapping overtop of the rear wheel. I've put pizza boxes, toilet paper, and other light weight boxy stuff back there, and it was really convenient. Unfortunately they are starting to stretch out a teensy bit, so I'm afraid that they will eventually become unusable and fall off, but no problems there yet. The seat is very comfy, and it is a faux leather so I don't need to worry about weather proofing. Yay! I've had a little issue with the alignment of my back wheel brake, but I got that tuned up and it was just a minor problem that was easily fixed for free where I purchased it. The battery Ive found to be pretty decent, but the mileage isn't as good as was promised to me ( 40 miles per charge). I get about 30 if I rarely use the accelerator, and stay on flat surfaces. Because I use the medium and high speeds more and live in a hilly neighborhood I would generally get about 25 miles per full charge. Because the battery will last longer if you don't completely discharge it, I rarely take it below the 2 dot mark.
Artie Gatsby : I'm thinking about getting one of these. I'm new to e-bikes. I can't ride a normal bike because of a condition I have that causes a lot of leg pain. It even makes walking hard and I get around solely via walking and taking the bus. Would you recommend this as just a bike to help me get down the street, or help me go to the grocery store and such without having to pedal? Or do you recommend I go with a slightly higher end model?

웹에서 관련 검색을 해보니 밑 안창과 바깥창(맞나...?)의 접착부가 떨어졌다는 얘기가 가장 많은 것 같은데요.
리페어 서비스로 금방 고쳐주니 너무 민감할 필요는 없다 그냥 잘 말려라 라는 조언들도 많이 보입니다.
그래도 저는 비오는 날은 아무래도 좀 꺼려지긴 해서 EVA 모델( 또 아리조나)을 구입할 예정입니다 ! ㅎ
길고 긴 도쿄의 장마도 막바지네요...올해도 무더운 여름이 시작될 것 같습니다 !
