Mizuno MP54 Irons reviewed by Mark Crossfield PGA professional AskGolfGuru. Mark Hits the new Mizuno MP54 iron and talks about its feel and concepts. Can this forged grain flow forged golf iron help you to hit more greens and improve your golf game. With its classic head design and and milled cavity this golf iron will appeal to the better player looking for control and feel.
ryan morris : these feel sooooo good. I have them with the orochi graphite shafts. there is a definite improvement in feel on the 53 (which I also gamed and the 59s). absolutely adore.
Nick Hickman : I'm currently using MP-52's but I think I'm going to switch to these 54's. they look gorgeous and sound fantastic!
Jeremy Simms : About to swap out my 5 and 4 Hogan Apex Plus irons for the MP54 after absolutely loving the 64s and 69s in the mid and short irons. Hogans are a treat, but the modern Mizunos offer that slight bit of extra distance and help with the launch, particularly on thin shots. Great video as always, Mark.
Yimmyyuyy : Just bought a mix set of these! Mp54 4-7 and MP4 8-P. Excellent clubs and excellent review
Örn Þórðarson : Just changed to the mp-54 from ap2 irons. The change was more down to the shafts since I was moving away from the s300 to KBS Tour shafts. I did love the ap2s but absolutely adore my Mizunos - fantastic set of irons!
Thank you for all the videos!
Mizuno MP-54 irons: Step Up your Shotmaking.
The MP-54 is a thick, powerful Grain Flow Forged iron crafted to awaken the shotmaker in players needing just a little forgiveness. Due September 2013.
Paul G : I absolutely love my set of MP-54s. Seriously the feeling you get when you hit them on the screws ... "Man" is right. These clubs make you want to hit better shots because you want to feel that feeling again and again.
Mobile Car park UK : I’m still playing these 6 years on, absolutely love them
Peter Dunne : I would love a set of 54's they look so good. However, for the moment I have to stick with my JPX 800's...lovely iron too!!!
Mizuno Golf : The MP-52 evolved into the MP-53 and now MP-54. All will be noticeably more forgiving than the MP-32, but keep you in the 'shotmaking' side of iron design. Next step from there would be the JPX825Pro.
Paolo Saycon : I love these so much i have 3 sets… 2 in rotation and a 3rd as a backup for the future. Ill never play any other stick till i die.

Mizuno MP54 Mizuno JPX EZ Forged reviewed by Mark Crossfield PGA professional AskGolfGuru. Mark hits the two forged irons and compares the distance and flight data on GC2 HMT to show you guys which golf club might suit your game best. The MP 54 irons with their classic looks and grain flow forged head design will always appeal to the lower handicap golfer, where the modern darker finished JPX EZ forged irons will help golfers looking for longer distance and large head sizes.
Kieron Shea : Great review Mark,
I tested both of these irons yesterday and I was getting 2,136 rpm more with the MP54's.
I tried out TaylorMade RocketBladeZ Tour, Callaway X Forged, Mizuno MP54 & JPX EZ... Now just waiting for my MP54's to arrive! They were phenomenal.
Martin Moore : Hi Mark Love the camera work with the feedback on the charts. The way you combined the views was great and thanks for making the charts bigger, as soon as it went into focus I could make the numbers out. Very helpful and interesting video too.
Jason Hildebrand : Awesome video, good stuff here to think about. I'd be curious what the comparison between the older MP53 is and the new MP54 (I know you still got one of those clubs around since you played it so long). I would be curious about the numbers and feel between those two sets. I know a lot of us are still gaming the MP53's and wondering about these new MP54's. Let us know.
Jonathan W Golf : Excellent video. Have just ordered a set of MP54's (with 1* stronger lofts) to replace my current i20 irons. I didn't seriously consider the EZ forged as it was 'love at first hit' with the MP54's. Simply stunning looking and performing irons.
saintcruzin : I ordered the MP 54 with KBS Tour R shaft, which hits the ball a bit high so I went 2o stronger lofts. Now I have xlint feel AND distance. Great Videos Mark and greetings from Santa Cruz, California.
