PHeRii : I've just found this channel and I have to say this is pure gold and treasure , big thank you
Jale Swiftpaw : Very instructive videos as always, sir.

It's also worth mentioning that, for example, Cat 5 cables use only 2 out of the 4 twisted pairs to reach 100 Mbps speed and to achieve 1 Gbps speed, all 4 pairs must work flawlessly or the speed will fall back to 100 Mbps.
Garry Dominique : Make no mistake about it; this is far the best tech channel on youtube. A four-year old wouldn't have any difficulties following the lessons. Thank you!
Satellite Sage : I'm a BSIT student who's having a hard time with computer networking. Your videos are really helpful, way better than my textbook! I hope you would keep more videos coming <3

RJ45 plug on UTP cable - Installing

more, with diagrams: www.weeklyreview.dipolnet.com issue: 42/2009 \r
There are two basic standards for 100Base-T networks: * T568B (more popular) * T568A\r
In the case of identical connections on both sides we get a "straight-through" cable. Applying two different standards on the sides we have "crossover" cable.\r
To connect a computer to a switch (hub, router) we use "straight-through" cable, but computer - computer connections usually require "crossover" cable.
marianathans : Very nicely explained. Video is so illustrative, that no audio is necessary to explain. Fantastic work.
bladedspokes : You're supposed to use the string to cut back more of the insulation and cut off the cable behind where you stripped the jacket, because it's possible to nick the cables with the stripping tool.
Tanvir Kabir : Seriuosly i have to thank you alot, ten years and i never thought about installing or trying to install a cable..but today after watching your video i just made my first cable and it works just fine...i am re-running your video with that cable ^^. Wish i could order some of your products but i live in a different country and getting things from outside is pretty confusing. Anyways thanks.
cutmustard1 : Had the same problem at first. The trick is to really flatten and straighten the wires with your thumbs before cutting to length. Took me 20 minutes and a cup of tea to do this - my fingers were aching by the end. Flatten the wires again after cutting, then slowly push them in. It takes some patience, but works ok.
mtx303 : 01:05 use string to open jacket cut off possible damaged wire. 02:25 cable is short. 02:48 never do this.

Gracias por tu visita.
TheVanegas : Excelente video mil gracias.
