자체 열을 내는 방식이 아닌, 기기 내에서 발생한 자기장을 이용해 전기유도물질로 만들어진 용기와 반응 시켜 열을 만들어내는 조리기구가 있습니다. 전용 용기가 있어야 한다는 제약이 있지만, 직접 가열 방식이 아니므로 유해가스가 발생하지 않고 화재로부터 안전하며 화상의 위험이 낮다는 특징이 있죠. 오늘은 사용도 편리해 주방의 효자 노릇을 톡톡히 하고 있는 ‘전기레인지’에 대해 알아봅니다.
