추운 겨울이되면 아프리카의 대자연과 뜨거운 햇살 신비로운 문화의 풍부함과 다양성을 보여주는 미지의 세계로 항상 여행을 떠나는 상상을 한다. 아프리카의 전통 아트와 기법에서 영향을 받은 패턴과 컬러로 기하학 모티브들을 활용해서 모티브들을 단순화 시키거나 그래픽이 다른 패턴들의 꼴라주 기법, 원색 컬러 대비의 사용으로 명료한 화면과 클래식과 캐주얼한 무드로 다양한 스타일의 변화 추구한다. 미지의 세계인 아프리카의 가장 위대한 자연과 문화를 그리디어스 만의위트있게 재해석하여 그리디어스만의 스타일링으로 아프리카의 여행을 초대한다.

When the cold winter comes, I always imagine traveling to the unknown world of Africa that comprises the richness of its great nature, the hot blazing sun, and the diversity of mysterious cultures. The simplified motifs use geometric patterns and colors influenced by traditional African art and techniques. Collage methods utilizing various graphic patterns and color contrasts of jeweled tonesfound in African art are also used to deliver vivid and clear designs to pursue changes in styles that vary from classic to casual moods. We invite you to travel to Greedilous' witty reinterpretation of the great nature and culture of Africa, to the unknown world, with Greedilous' own unique styling.

Artemis’s‘Hwatu’ (花鬪) | War of flowers
한국이 일본 강점기에 들어온 이 '꽃들의 싸움'이라고 해석하는 '화투'는 우리 민족의 슬픔을 잠시나마 잊게 해주는 놀이로, 기나긴 역사를 통해 이는 포르투갈의 'Carta' 카드놀이에서 비롯된 것으로 추정됩니다. 디자이너 모니카고는 화투가 할머니의 아침 운세로 사용되었던 추억이 남아있으며, 한국인들에게는 명절에 가족들이 모이는 즐거운 카드놀이입니다. 24 F/W Collection은 한국의 민화, 민화투와 그리스신화의 아르테미스에서 영감을 받아 메종 너하고 만의 독창적인 스토리로 재해석합니다. 이 컬렉션은 동시대의 사회적 문제로 부각되고 있는 이스라엘의 전쟁과 약자에 대한 문제를 다루며, 한국의 대표적인 카드놀이인'민화투'를 패셔너블한 아이템으로 소개하고자 합니다.

The 'fight of flowers,' interpreted as 'Hwatu' during the Japanese occupation of Korea, is a game that momentarily distracts from the sorrow of our nation. It is speculated to have originated from the Portuguese card game called 'Carta.' For me as a designer, Hwatuholds memories of my grandmother predicting the morning fortune with the cards, and for Koreans, it is a delightful card game played during holidays. The 24 F/W Collection draws inspiration from Korean folk paintings, Hwatu, and the Greek mythology figure Artemis. It reinterprets these elements into Maison Nica's unique story. This collection aims to shed light on contemporary social issues, particularly focusing on the Israeli war and the challenges faced by the vulnerable. Additionally, it seeks to present the iconic Korean card game, 'Hwatu,' as fashionable items.
