How To Use iCloud Drive in 2020 - or how I use iCloud to manage all my storage needs and those of my family while saving cash from extra cloud services or other physical disks. With my setup, I don't need to worry about backups and I also have no need for additional external hard drives. With the latest Mac OS Catalina update and the ability to share files and folders directly from iCloud with anyone, I can eliminate additional cloud services like Google Drive and DropBox and pay only for iCloud Drive. Also, if by any chance my computer breaks down, get's stolen or I somehow lose my data, I can be up and running on another Mac within 1-2 hours thanks to my methodology.

How to Download iCloud Photos to Mac in 2 Easy Ways 2018

Find out how to download photos from iCloud to your Mac computer in 2 easy ways! We'll show you how to have your iCloud photos automatically sync to your Mac computer, or download photos from the iCloud website.

To sync your photos and videos from iCloud to Mac, open your Mac’s system preferences. Select iCloud. Beside Photos, click Options. Then click the box beside iCloud Photo library. Click Done to save your changes. After a few minutes, you can open the Photos app on your Mac, and all the photos from your iCloud account will be synced to your Mac.

To download photos to your Mac from the iCloud website, open your browser and go to iCloud.com. Then sign in to your Apple ID account. Select Photos. Scroll through your photo library to find an image you want to download. Click on a picture to select it. If there are multiple photos you want to select, hold down the command key on your keyboard, then click each photo you want to select. To save them to your Mac, click the download icon at the top right of your screen. Then click Download. The photos will be saved to your Mac’s Downloads folder. Repeat these steps to download as many photos or videos as you’d like.
