Acrylic LED light pipes

I demonstrate how to use acrylic rods as "light pipes" for LED lights on an electronics project of mine.

My project box is a homemade uninterruptable power supply for my Raspberry Pi computer, which is running a home automation system. I wanted the battery backup so that if power is lost, the system can send my phone a text page to let me know power is out at my home and then the Pi can shutdown in an orderly fashion. The board that helps me do this is called a MightyBoost which is coupled with a Moteino. Both of these products are from Low Power Lab and can be purchased from their website at http://www.lowpowerlab.com/

I would like to ask a query that if there are two led's of different color & I would like to reflect them on the top using led pipe and those two led pipes are connected with each other at the bottom so, will there be any effect on colors at the top?
