Mike : I’d love to see off the shelf OEM 2019 vs a five year old club fitted. I bet with the right shaft and adjustment you could get an older club to perform better than a new off the shelf. Would definitely show the power of a fit.
hkp : I would have liked to also see how the i20 would have performed with the same shaft.
I can imagine that players get quite a faster swing speed after 7 years and therefore a new shaft alone might be a worthy upgrade on it own?
Jonathan Stewart : Still gaming the I20 w/ stock shaft! It has been the best club in my bag and difficult to replace. Accuracy and workability have been unmatched in my experience. Still gaming MP33 irons so those will get replaced before the driver. Looking forwards to testing some next year when my Ping turns 10!
Michael Slinger : In a similar theme, I swapped my TM Burner to a Cobra F9. Gained 30-40m and a lower, more controlled flight. It's amazing when I get the F9 perfectly out of the middle.
Zarlodious : Went from Ping i20 8.5 x-stiff ping shaft to Radspeed 9 three weeks ago (playing at 7.5) with Project X 6.5 Hulk Green and WOW what a difference!! The forgiveness is much better and the distance is phenomenal. Just got the 16 gram weight and put the 12 in the rear for lower spin and more MOI hopefully. Thank you both for this video!
