We're continuing with our photography series and today were talking about another budget camera and this time, its a mirrorless camera. A lot of people are moving from the bulkier DSLR to the more compact mirrorless and a lot of popular mirrorless camera manufacturer benifits from this from the likes of Sony Alpha, Panasonic Lumix and Olympus. Even established DSLR manufaturers are also following the trend like Canon R and Nikon Z. But there's one manifacturer who is a little unknown to camera world but producing really good mirrorless cameras and camera sensors and that is Samsung with thier NX lineup. Samsung is popular with other gadgets lije phones, television, home appliances but the marketing for the nx mirrorelss camera is a failure. Personally, I dont know if it wasnt given too much attention because photographers, unlike other tech enthusiast may have strong bias or brand loyalty. Of course, ecosystem will also play a role if someone already spent a lot buying great lenses from a particular brand it will be hard to switch and that put Samsung and the NX camera into a rough and tough spot but today, if youre new to camera world and ypu want to check out cheap but really good camera, lets talk about Samsung NX2000 and how good it is and what makes it special.

Falk4J : I got me several "old" Samsung NX cameras on the used market. They are absolutely brilliant and for the money now you hardly find an equivalent. I got the NX1, NX 500, NX 300 and the NX Mini for just on the go. And together with the bodies you can get great bargains with the lenses that are sold with the cameras. Plus batteries, camera bags etc. I really enjoy these cameras for they've been so much ahead of their day. The only downside which really isn't one anymore is the H265 video codec only. But if you know how to handle it that's actually an upside for you have so much less data then with other codecs without compromising on quality.

1991 Nissan NX2000 | Retro Review

The '91 NX2000 had SE-R power, T-tops, and it still looks great.
justsomeguytoyou : A reminder of the days when you could buy a fun to drive sporty little car without having to take out a second mortgage on your house.
Zach May : I wish Nissan still built cars with passion like they did in the 90s. Their cars were cool, sporty and authentically Japanese!
1ShopSnipe : I still own a 91 NX2000, it's black with t-tops and completely stock. Well, almost... there is an SR20DET hiding under the hood. Great little commuter car.
Julius Pepperwood : I happen to know that this car can jump really far and go through telephone poles.
oldtwins na : Had one from new to 240k miles. Only problem I ever had was the a/c compressor which routinely crapped out. Mods were headers, true cold air intake, high flow cat, and short shifter. The stock seats were inferior to the SE-R's so I actually bought used SE-R seats and installed them as they were bolt-ins. So much better. The greatest thing I liked was the hatchback style as the vehicle was an important cargo hauler for me; I even completely removed the back seat so had this enormous cavity that swallowed up a lot of stuff. Lifetime actual MPG was 34 before 10% ethanol mandated fuel and 32 after. It was not particularly fast off the line as wheelspin was hard to control and you'd bog down starting too low, more of a rolling quick car, it had a really swift 50-90mph sprint for its class and time. 5th gear was short enough that you'd rarely need to shift out for passing power. Mine did not have the t-tops as it was a dealership closeout special back in '92. Overall, a great car that I will always remember.
