Daniel Rezende : These mini CDs were relatively successful in Brazil, not because of the phonographic industry, but by a marketing action promoted by Coca-Cola. In the early 2000s, you could exchange Coca-Cola products caps and labels for mini CDs, these often contain songs popular by soap operas and video clips of the time.
Ayden Pulles : I was born in 2002 in the Netherlands but I think I have about 20 of these cd's, they came free with some electrical equipment for pc drivers and also for some promotions and demo games.
Forgot to mention, a lot of gamecube games are the small 80mm cd format, they also work in the Wii
MiamiMillionaire : They aren't as rare as one might think, especially in Europe they were widespread and there was even a DVD version of them.
David Almanza : Those Japanese booklets for the mini CD’s are sick. Definitely want to get my hands on one.

MIKA 9909 : 영상 아주 흥미롭게 잘 봤습니다. 세상의 빠른 변화의 혜택을 받으면서도, 한편으로는 그시절의 낭만이 부러운 24살 청년입니다. 지금은 유튜브 알고리즘으로 편하게 디깅하는 시대이지만 CD 하나하나 구매해서, 빌려서 들어보는 DK님과 이숲님의 그시절 낭만을 정말 궁금하게 만드는 좋은 영상이었던것 같습니다. 두분 덕분에 음감에 푹 빠진 저로서는 더할나위 없었구요. 계속해서 좋은 영상 만들어 주시길 기대합니다.
추가로 진짜 기기 만듦새가 좋다고 느껴지네요. 200만원대 DAC랑 비슷하다고 하신거에서 살짝 의아하면서도 신기했고, 풀사이즈 CD랑 호환 완벽하게 되는거 보고서는 진짜 감탄했습니다. 돈 모아서 꼭 언젠가 기추하고 싶어요

당시엔 jpop 황금기임에도 일본문화를 막고 있던 부분이 있어 해적판이나 보따리상물건을 구하러 다녀야하는 경우가 대부분이었고 인터넷구매라는게 원할지도 않고 정보가 별로 없어서 매니아층에게 알음알음 돌던때라 정말 힘들때였는데..물론 후반엔 mp3도 좀 돌고 문화개방을 시작해 나아지긴했습니다만 그땐 슬슬 jpop도 황금기 막차였던 기억이 있네요
