Darren Morris : Good god I only wanted to know how you use it
Perri-Anne Magerman : Excellently done video. Thank you. You didn't rush the instruction and were helpful. I have an older model of the same one and when I plug it in, I get a white light but it doesn't blink. Not sure if it is working. Thanks for the instruction though.
A Bathing Grape : For anyone wondering about conversions:
1024 megabytes = 1 gigabyte
1024 gigabytes = 1 terabyte
edit: thanks for the corrections!
Entity : For anyone wondering you can not use a normal cable for this, i had to try since the one provided got bent. You need that one or it wont work.
You can get replacementa on amazon for 5 quid. The input is called a usb 3 micro b.
Missi Monroe : Great video - thank you - I have a question -
I have a Seagate external unit programmed for an automatic nightly back up.
Mid-day, not during a back up session, I needed to retrieve a file from the Seagate unit & I successfully did so but forgot to close out of the session.
Will the automatic programmed nightly back up still occur or does the Seagate need to be in an idle state ?

Andrew K : THANK YOU. So many videos do not even show where to plug anything in. It helped so much that you showed the cable connections and what they look like. And I followed the troubleshoot issue which worked.
Plorg : Thank you so much I have been trying to figure this out all night

TrillianaEM : I needed a new HDD about 2-3TB in a new PC, and I found the answer here. Thank you, the very informative video and your answers were very helpful, I just bought a WD blue.
Realmjumper : I got them both for games and light content creation and they work great. However for booting and OS Windows plus light programs I used a 512GB SSD M2.
DAN WILHELM : Nice review. Thank you! Did you record the operating temperatures of the drives during your tests? For me, idle and full load temps are also important factors in HDD buying decisions.
Dino Spumoni : Hello, thank you for the review. They're both on sale right now for $46. I'm leaning towards the WD Blue per your review but which is the more quiet one as I value quiet operation. Thanks!
Dragon Emperor : Your video was very informative and straight to the point! Thank you.
