'Platinum Jubilee LIVE: The Platinum Jubilee Pageant'

Evoking the Coronation at the very start of the Platinum Pageant, the Bells of Westminster Abbey will chime, as they did on Coronation Day.

As they do so, The Mounted Band of the Household Cavalry will lead The Gold State Coach along a crowd-thronged pageant route back to Buckingham Palace. Original film footage recorded on Coronation Day will be used to recreate the magic of that extraordinary occasion.

The Pageant itself will bring to life iconic moments from The Queen’s reign as well as showcasing our changing society over the past 70 years. 10,000 people are involved, including the military, over 6,000 volunteers, performers, key workers and 2,500 members of the public.

National treasures and iconic figures from music, film, sport and the arts will take part in the Pageant including much-loved celebrity names, alongside military personnel, key workers and volunteers.

One of the most incredible performances at the Queen's Platinum party. l was amazed like a few weeks at Eurovision. l wish Sam could become an important icon of British music culture. Tracey Mitchell : Sam Ryder is going to be massive. He's not just a fantastic singer but his stage presence is really good. Every so often I hear Freddie in him. There was obviously something wrong with his earpiece but he still smashed it. Absolutely brilliant performance.

Dangnabbit : There is a story about the Queen many years ago going for a walk near her Scottish Palace at Balmoral (she has several, it's a queen thing) and meeting some other walkers coming the opposite way. Not realising who they were talking to these people got chatting with her and said "we heard that the Queen has a home nearby, have you ever met her". Apparently the Queen said no then pointed to her security guard and said "but he has".
biblegirl : My husband can often get frustrated with our daughter, she's only a couple days older than the prince, but I sure made him look at this. If a little prince constantly coached in behavior acts like that so can our kid. Oh, four year olds.
LinKongDa : Prince Louis is a 4 year old. it is just impossible. a 5 year old you can bribe.
A 4 year old is just beginning to grasp the meaning of meaning. Many says kindergarden class age 3-5 is one of the most frustrating class to teach. You basically don't, you just try to survive to the end of the class with your sanity. At the end of class, If less than 2 monkeys end up with bite marks, you consider that a WIN.
