Selleys | How to repair a hole in plasterboard

Mr Squiggles : I have to agree with some of the comments here that the sanding was sloppy and it wasn't given a proper application including not even tell us the ideal grit of sandpaper to use. But you could see the sanded edges were not tapered properly, and when paint would be applied, it would show up as a rough bog job. there's an issue I think with using this tape as well, as it would undoubtedly show up in your sanding. Better to cut a round hole and fill it with a round plug of similar material using the same size circular cutting blade.

W Q : Some people would have thought you need to turn to “max” to use it, then realised it’s quite a lot and should have just stick to “min”.

Jeff H : mmmm, I am surprised he used the pull method, traditional to use the push method. Less wastage, more control and better product penetration.
