Is The Nikon J1 Still Worth Buying in 2022? (With Video Examples)

The Nikon J1 is a tiny, portable, and versatile mirrorless camera. But is it still worth buying in 2021, or should you go a different route? In this video I cover that, and discuss a different camera that might be a better option for most people!
Richard Henson : The J1 was my first experience with mirrorless cameras. I bought a fully loaded kit with the 10-30mm and 30-110mm lenses, the case, two batteries and accessories on eBay for $150.
I’m not much of a vlogger but it’s great when you don’t want to lug around a lot of gear. If you have old Nikon glass, invest in the FT1 adapter.
Otherwise, the J1 is my pocket camera and shares some space next to its bigger Z series brother.
Someone Else : i had an olympus EPM-1 when the J1 dropped. my camera was uglier but my canon FD 50mm f1.8 made the shots way better
