Samsung AMOLED Production Process
Video describes the production process of Samsung AMOLEDs. This was produced by samsung and is available in its original SWF format here:
https://www.samsungdisplay.com/eng/images/product/amoled_mov_en.swf
I've uploaded it to youtube for preservation and educational purposes. There is an existing youtube video of the flash but it is a video recording rather than a screen capture.
Raj Pawar : Thank you I was finding this for a year.
Swavvy Rico : I think I just lost brain cells waiting the process, but it is thoroughly explained.
TikTok World : And after all of this paper thin display well done Samsung
Andrew McLeod : This is VAGUE AF - Well done Samsung!
Michael Mwaura : Where can I buy the machine that makes touch screen hardglass?

The Pros to the AMOLED is:
Great indoor visibility
Good outdoor visibility
Tens of thousands of color variations on screen
Modern Looking
contrast
The Cons to the AMOLED is:
not great when in direct sunlight
battery life
may be too bright and attention grabbing for some
The Pros to MIP is:
AMAZING (probably the best) for outdoor visibility
incredibly low power (better battery life)
doesn't grab attention
The Cons to MIP is:
not alot of color variations on screen
poor indoor visibility unless backlit turns on
not contrasty
looks 'dated'

MrWolfgang : It's really refreshing hearing about sports watches from the perspective of a tech reviewer. Keep up the good work Mark.
uneakbreed : great explanation and comparison. I was lost regarding what MIP even was and the pros and cons against AMOLED. You answered all my questions. Thanks!
Adam Kreuz : I saw a side-by-side of the Fenix and the Epix showing a topo map. It's what won AMOLED over for me. The map detail was way better
Ariyo Arinsa Putra : I think always on display for a watch is a must. I don't think it's convenience to always need to turn on the display whether by gesture or anything else just to watch the time. by that logic, mip is the one for me. that said, I still not convince to buy an mip watch yet.
does garmin fr 55 have the same mip display quality compare to fenix mip display?
Philip Weißner : I love my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Sapphire.
It’s freaking expensive.. but the look of the watch and the battery life are big big features u just can’t get on other devices.. I do have a S3 Frontier to actually. Which will last me about 2 Days in gesture mode.
For me, personally I disable the light feature on the fenix completely. So I can press the light button for light on and off myself .. cause even at night in a city mist of the time there are some laterns I came by where I can check the watch. But for navigation turn signals and notifications the light turns on.
But it’s really not that dark in a modern city as many may think.. and for when I need light I have it on 5%.. the Fenix‘s display is just so amazing eye friendly to look at.
I personally never reply to text on my watches.. i check the message. And if I want to reply it’s in any case better to do on the phone.

@MrJ0mmy : Super AMOLED is not worth the extra cost its not much better then lcd ips hdr screem and over time Super AMOLED can get screen burn in
@courtney1616 : I personally decided on the s7 because I want a more compact tablet for use at work. A tablet larger than this model would be to cumbersome when holding upright to read or travel with daily. Honestly, I wanted a smaller tablet but didn't care for the older models. So far I am 110% pleased with my decision.
@Calvin5wa : Thanks for the comparison! Such a huge help for someone like me who's currently struggling in choosing between models. I personally like regular S7 size because it's more similar with my tab S4, but kinda sad because they use non-AMOLED screen. Also regular Tab S7 on my country only comes with 6GB of RAM. I'm more concerned about those backlight on regular S7, since I use my tablet before sleep a lot (dark room). But I guess it doesn't really affect much when I lower the brightness? Bright screen hurt my eyes a lot haha.
@redribbonzx7207 : This is by far, the most thorough assessment on the two model screen. Thanks a lot for sharing your review!
@hi-yaflyer : Definitely helpful for me! In my opinion, the minor differences between the S7 and the S7+ are not worth 100s of pounds. I went with a used mint condition S7 for £489.
