shonen84 : Great review, thank you! I've had the XBA-4 for about 6 months now, and have used them on a variety of sources. I totally agree that they aren't neutral, but the comfort, "in the middle 3D" soundstage and detail make them my go-to headphone. Combined with the Walkman Z, these are truly wonderful - especially for stuff like kpop (which has lotsa female vocals and electronics lol, snsd ftw)

MrHellowassup : I loved the soundstage of the xba 4. It wasn't claustrophobic for me. The sound was airy and felt very rich and luxurious. These iems are amazing. It is tru that the xba 4 are a little metallic sounding in the highs. Amazing phones and good review top.
Alex Kozar : Damn. Upon looking at loads of comparisons between the DT 990s and others, I thought it'd be pretty hard to beat getting the pro model for $215 including postage value wise. Just hope my E17 can supply enough voltage, if not I'll just get the E09K.
Tim Winn : Just to say, I totally agree with you about the great sound stage of the XBA-4 and 40s. I tried some B&W P5s this weekend thinking I might replace them and was very disappointed after the great presence I get from XBA-4s and my Grado SR80is. What a shame we need to use in-ear/closed headphones! Twice the price and half the quality.

Accessoires : 1 pincette / 1 enrouleur / 10 paires embouts de différentes tailles repérés par un axe de couleurs différentes
Pour des questions n'hésitez pas à solliciter.
Le son est très bon, les basses sont puissantes sans être baveuse, les médiums ne sont pas en retrait par rapport aux aigus. Ces intra-auriculaires sont d'une grande précision sans être agressif.

gregou69110 : La courbe de réponse en fréquences de ces intras est parfaitement adaptée pour de la musique électronique.
Ces intras disposent :
1 armature dédiée à l'infra-basse
1 armature dédiée aux basses & bas médium
1 armature large bande (du grave aux aigus)
1 armature dédiée aux aigus
Je vous conseille de l'écouter avec un petit amplificateur même si cela n'est pas forcement nécessaire.
Pour ma part, j'utilise l'ampli portatif FIIO E12 qui a la particularité d'être très puissant par rapport à la taille.
Au niveau spécifications intéressante, je note :
cordon très haute qualité : High quality PCOCC cord
puissance adamissible élevé : 100 mW
sensibilité (relativement élevé) : 108 dB
impédance (faible) : 12 Ω at 1 kHz
Au niveau du confort, ces intras sont assez volumineux mais trés leger.
Ils dépasseront de vos oreilles une fois mis en place.
Ils sont confortables et ne bouge pas une fois mis en place.
Pour améliorer le son (surtout dans les medium au niveau des voix), je vous conseille de tester des embouts qui ont un tube de sortie un peu plus large. Ceci a pour effet, d'augmenter le niveau des mediums et de reduire un peu la sibilance.
Je vous rassure l'écoute est très naturelle, pas de sifflante et une signature en V très faiblement marquée.
On n'est pas du tout dans un style d'écoute des casques monster.
Par comparaison, j'ai un casque sédentaire le DENON AH-D600 modifié par mes soins, les XBA-40 sont du même niveau et très proche en sonorité.
