Lenovos 799 ultrabook is perfectly priced in time for back to school shopping.
@TechCentury : Yes that definitely is an issue the manufacturers have to overcome.
@TechCentury : What are your opinions based on? What machines did you use?
@DJLionheartXCII : Ultrabooks are meant to be the Windows version of the Macbook Air, and like it or not, the Air is the most popular thin and light laptop. I personally prefer windows PCs due to the price point, but I love the thinness of the air so when they compare Ultrabooks to Macbooks as much as they do, it really helps me decide which is more suitable for me. In short, these laptops are meant to be compared to the Air, sad but true.
@szhou2513 : one big issue is that SSD's have shorter life cycle which means that it goes down easier than hard drives (assuming u don't use the laptop on the train)
@TechCentury : After owning the MacBook Air I honestly don't want to miss an SSD anymore and the prices are also dropping at the moment.

With more RAM and an SSD you can definitely upgrade your current machines speed significantly.
