Shirley Temple - On The Good Ship Lollipop.avi
Du film Bright Eyes (1934)
@gigicamp : You can actually see her trying to pull down her dress when they’re grabbing her that’s so sad
@ShirleyCurryTheOlderGamer : This is who I was named after!! Every Shirley I've met has been around my age. All the young mothers back then were naming their girls Shirley!
@ip2489 : May Shirley's soul be resting in the highest of heavens. She was such a unique being.
@AriannaAyers : Considering how talented Shirley Temple was, and the time in which she grew up, it's a M - I - R - A - C - L - E she grew up to be a compassionate, decent, giving, and kind human being, better know in later years for her wonderful parenting, and volunteerism, particularly with Veterans. Her supreme talent should be viewed with the periscope of that - the lens of talent - and we should dissuade ourselves from focusing on those that surround her, as uncomfortable as they may make us feel.
@PaulMartzWriter : I showed this clip to my mother-in-law Cleo recently. Cleo is the same age as Shirley Temple and a huge classic film fan. Unfortunately, Cleo is compromised from a stroke, and suffers from dementia and memory loss. In spite of her limitations, she sang along with this video and knew every word. The mind is an amazing thing.

@JulietYelverton : How distressing to see this sexualization of children. A film made for the entertainment of adults. Such perversity of innocence.
@HiddenCharmhome : I honestly can’t imagine how this was ever acceptable let alone entertainment. It’s so creepy
@shea9632 : I feel bad for Shirley while she was growing up, this is wrong on so many levels.
@mariaglass2968 : This is so disturbing. I would Ask, "What were they thinking?!?" But I'm pretty sure we all know. I cannot imagine parents allowing their toddlers being treated this way.
@BiohazardBunney : Shirley was so talented and intelligent for her age. Honestly, if Hollywood hadn't been so horrible to her, she might have gone very far.
