@jeanrowe9562 : Really good idea - I HATE a turtleneck but every once in a while one will end up in my sweater drawer having come as a gift or a moment of my own weakness & stupidity thinking it was so pretty that I could manage wearing it for a few hours - which never happened. I have a drawer full, my own little "seamstress" room complete with surger, embroidery. Now with this handy idea I can see myself getting busy & having beautiful new additions to my wardrobe-- & quickly too. Thanks for the idea !!
@BirdwatcherLinda : Love repurposing clothes. Always been afraid of zippers, so this helps me. Thank you.
@barbaraeaton7578 : I often do stuff like this. I would recommend when working with any knit or stretchy garment to apply the fusible before you make the cut for the zippers since these fabrics stretch out of shape so easily. If not then often one side of the zipper opening ends up being longer than the other side.
