@josesantiago7725 : Thanks for your comment. Question: What model would you recommend?  Even if it is from a different manufacture.
@shegocrazy : They don't show it in use because it is absolute rubbish. There is too much flex in the drill holding arm so you can't be in any way accurate.
@newnam : Thanks for not showing me how to use this.
@hovikabrahamian3801 : WHAT DID YOU DO? IS SO EMBARRASSING, AT LIST DONT SHOW OTHERS.... USELESS ...

Add Character To Picture Frames Using The Dremel Shaper/Router Table (231)

Add depth to your favorite picture frame with the Dremel or route consistent lines anywhere else with the Dremel Shaper/Router Table. Consistently slot, edge, groove, or sand your work no matter the shape. Tackle all of your repeatable, light-duty detailing projects with ease.

To get started, secure the Shaper/Router table to your bench using the included mounting hardware either directly to the table or to a 2" x 4" clamped to your workbench for added portability. Once mounted, loosen the clamp knob under the platform and turn the depth adjustment knob to lower the tool holder. Remove the nose cap from the rotary tool and place it in the tool holder with the on/off switch facing out. Thread the locking nut clockwise onto the tool and tighten with. the provided wrench. To install routing and sanding bits, insert them into your rotary tool with a maximum of 5/8" protruding past the collet nut, tighten using the provided wrench and reinstall the tool into the router table. Use the depth adjustment screw to set the cutting depth and you're ready to go!

@eldorfdragonsbane : The holes in the surface of the router table below and above (when looking down at the table from above) where the fence pivots at are additional places for you to attach the fence for adjustment, so that you don't have to only rely on the one pivot point. Also the holes along the side that you mentioned should be counter sunk are for attaching the extended table surface that the instruction manual has the plans for.

Both the table and the plunge router attachments do what they were designed to do, light work, such has that done by model builders, model railroaders, etc... I have both and haven't had any issues with them.

Funny thing is in my case the availability of them was opposite, the router table was easily locatable locally and the plunge router had to be ordered online.

No attachment point for a vacuum to collect the dust isn't and issue to me, as the router table I had to use when I took wood shop in High School 25+ years ago didn't have a dust collection system.
@sunpointstudio4472 : The bit you were using to round the edges doesn't even require the fence as it has an edge follower (more expensive bits for larger shank tools have a bearing). Move the fence out of the way. When using the fence, you don't need to start the workpiece at the far end of the fence, it just needs to be before the cutting bit.
If you remove the cap from the dust guard, a vacuum hose can be inserted. This may require an adapter for your particular vacuum hose.
@MoDub18 : At 80$ CAD on Amazon for the router table I think I'll try to 3D print my own custom one. Thanks for this review.
@sylvievicenza179 : I got my Dremel router table +- 15 years ago. Today was the day! I had never used it and was scared (yes difficult to admit) Watching you have given me confidence. I will go back in the garage tomorrow and finish the edges of my shelf. Thank you.
@TruFrag : Hey, No joke... A drop of olive oil on each rod on the plunge router greatly improves motion.

To clean grime build up you can unscrew each post and remove the upper half to clean the rods. EVOO on all metal bits just seems to work best. People give these Dremel brand rotary tool attachments a bad rap. Its unfortunate because you are expecting too much out of it. The attachments are designed with safety in mind. They are made from Plastic and yet mine have never cracked or broken and I put them through the ringer everyday.

I make extra fine engravings in glass using the plunge router and carbide bits. I make jewelry boxes, Dremel bit boxes and other neat trinkets. I use the router table for all of that plus rounding off edges of glass panels, stone, tiles, wood, ex...

**Tips**
Read the instructions and watch a tutorial on YouTube!

Cut less off and make more passes to get to the depth of cut you want. Also... Dust isn't a huge deal. Drop a box fan in-front of you with a filter attached or better yet build your self a downdraft table.

Grab some sticky Velcro to keep the boxes closed. I am also spastic about keeping packaging. I don't always store the tools in it though. I built my self a rotary tool work station with a downdraft grate under where all the dust is made where I have costume storage. Also have a water feed drip system for doing stone/glass/tile work. Also works like a fume hood for some of those smelly chemicals like CA glue, stains, ex.

Rotary tools have a hard time with soft materials, Dont use Pine like you did in the video. Go with a Hardness of at least 900 like Cedar, but preferably you would want a wood hardness of over 1000. (Janka Wood Hardness Scale)
