Ahmed Ali : Thanks all for your comments. I just want to clear one common misconception. Rapport is not the same as liking. If you are in rapport with someone, it does not mean he or she likes you. Rapport is a process of responsiveness. It's established by pacing and leading. Just like Tony points out here, people judge people in a matter of seconds.
I hope this clears up for some people. Thanks! :)

caldwell fisher : Any deceit that is spotted (however small) in a potential friend, is a sign that they don't mind deceiving you.!. But any "friend" you have to work that hard to get, is no friend at all. Be genuine and genuine friends will come.
M.A.N Plus : MY MIND IS BLOWN !!!
Tribe Judah Judah : LoL hour-and-a-half yeah right
Saara Pöllönen : I like Tony. But. The similar period loop is nothing but a myth. He also uses way too much generalisation between sexes, it's obnoxious since I'm very introverted, university educated woman and almost nothing he claims about females in his lectures matches me
Sarel Ito : These are principles of NLP. However, Second Brain Psychology takes this to a whole new level of understanding and meaningfulness, where rapport is based on understanding the differences in building rapport, and not just mimicking the other person.
Paweł : 13:03 That's anecdotal (tests couldn't replicate that effect). But then I don't think he's 100% serious reading his facial expressions
