Benjamin Smith : This is a proper way to present this piano. First, play something that shows the full range of the piano using different dynamics, it's great he did not pound the piano. And play it long enough that you get an idea of the primary piano sound. Many people buying the piano care most about the piano sounds, and less about the other sounds. Then talk and explain the instrument. The YDP141 is now the YDP143, has more polyphony, but sounds pretty similar. Good buy for the money, Yamaha could add the ivory tops and string resonance, because the main competitors, Roland and Kawai, include that in this price range.

Demo song sheet music Casper Jazz : I have this piano over 4 years now and I've been pretty happy with it's capabilities. In my personal opinion, the keys are a bit softer than I would prefer (even though it is hammer touch, which is great for beginners) but all in all is a great digital piano (DP).
This DP can be used as a MIDI controler. Officially you need to get the Yamaha's UX-16 MIDI interface to work with MIDI, but I used a 4$ one from e-bay [search for "MIDI to USB cable adapter" on ebay.com :) ].
I am using the DP with Cantabile and VMPK for getting more sounds from VST plugins.
Muse Score is a free music notation software which can be connected with the DP in a way that You write notes to music sheets by pressing the piano's keys.
