2019년 10월 28일, 전 세계에서 유일하게 다이아몬드를 직접 캘 수 있는 주립공원에 왔습니다! 미국 아칸소주 다이아몬드 주립공원 Crater of Diamonds State Park, Arkansas. 저는 이곳에서 3박 4일동안 캠핑하면서 다이아몬드를 찾아보았습니다. 실제로 이곳에서 많은 사람들이 다이아몬드를 발견한다고 합니다!
On October 28, 2019, I drove to Arkansas to find diamonds. I had been camping for 4 days and also enjoyed looking for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park, Arkansas.
Crater of Diamonds State Park is the only place on earth where anyone can mine for diamonds.
In my video, I introduce the ways to search for diamonds.
Ways to Search for Diamonds
1. Surface searching : the easiest way
Move slowly through the search area while examining the soil in the park
and look for something shiny and smooth!
A few weeks before the day I arrive d here,
it is said that someone who works for this park found a diamond on the wheel of his tractor.
2. Dry sifting
Dry sifting requires dry dirt and may not be possible
during the wet season.
3. the wet sifting
The park suggests using a bucket, shovel, and double screen set for wet sifting.
When digging dirt to wet sift, look for low area where water has deposited
heavy gravel. Because diamonds are heavy for their size.
Shake mesh screens in the water to wash out loose soil
and separate the gravel by size
The man behind me, first he pours dirt into many buckets at once
and then uses his own big mesh screens while he working
He has been camping here for a week and found 4 little diamonds!
Use the small-mesh screen to separate the finer gravel by weight.
Rock the sides of the screen up and down quickly in the water
to push gravel to the center of the screen.
Turn the screen, and rock it again.
Let the water drain from the screen, and flip the screen upside-down quickly on a table,
so that the heavy gravel appears on top of the pile.
Look closely at the surface of you pile if you have diamonds
