iPad Air 32GB Unboxing & First Impressions

Didrick Namtvedt : I got this (Silver model, 32 GB) for my birthday this summer and I love it! I had the white iPad 2 since 2011 and for me, this was a solid upgrade from good to better. This year, I've started reading books on Amazon's Kindle app and iPad Air's retina screen is one of the reasons I wanted the iPad Air for my birthday. Text is crystal clear on the new device whereas it would be quite pixellated on iPad 2, making me have to zoom in to read but on the Air I almost don't have to zoom in at all. I'm glad they kept the screen size the same even if the side bezels are thinner, it makes the transition more of a smooth one but holding it is really nice, not as tiring to hold it in the long run as it was when holding the iPad 2 for a longer period of time.

Question for you, does it bother you that you have to buy the same apps twice since you have iOS and Android?
Marc The Geek : I love the Note 3's screen. The is very thin and with thin bezels, so for me there's no problem handling the phone and fits in any pocket. For me it'll be hard hard to go to a smaller screen.

Biscuit ُ : This iPad is still good for watching YouTube, I still use it for that. if you turn off transparency ("reduce Transparency" in setting) and UI animation ("reduce motion" ) the device would be much faster.
Shay Lavender : My ipad air 1 still works well. I bought when it came out. This ipad lasted longer compared to my old phone that I bought 3 years ago. Not as fast compared to the newer ones but its definitely durable. I just use it now for browsing and ebooks. Gets the job done so I still cant let it go.
Nigel Mitchell : I’m not gonna lie this video really gave me low expectations about purchasing the iPad Air 1st generation. However my daughter is turning 9 tomorrow and I actually ordered one of these for her and it arrived today. To make a long story short she decided to open it today and she absolutely loves it. We transferred her iCloud over with no problems. Every app works perfect YouTube TikTok etc. she even started playing Roblox on it with no problem. Shit I even watched a few YouTube videos on it. I would definitely recommend this iPad hence if you’re a Apple junkie and want buy the newest one that’s cool too do you playa…
