* Get all the ROS code of the video in this link: http://www.rosject.io/l/c354a44/
In the following video, we are going to explain, using a simple example with Summit XL robot, what are the main differences between the global costmap and the local costmap.

Hasan Mansour : Thank you for your effort. I love your videos especially the Q&A series,
Honestly this particular explanation was confusing. It is clear that your configuration of the global cost map made it very similar, if not identical, to the local cost map. I would love to hear why did you (and many other robots) used this config? Why did you add newly detected obstacles to the global costmap? Won't that defeating the purpose of having two costmaps and two path planners?
Teetan Robotics : one of the best explanations ever and that's why we are the biggest fans of the channel. Could you please also explain the A* and RRT planning algorithms ?
Maggie Maralit : Hello, Sir. Clearly, your initial explanation was that the global costmap is solely based on the static map, and that local costmap is solely based on the data from the sensor (say, laser). My question is, when there's a new obstacle detected by the laser (like what you did on this video), I would understand that local costmap would automatically be updated. But why is global costmap also automatically updated with that new obstacle? I assumed that in around 11:40 and 17:40 of this video, if you tried to disable the local costmap visibility (the colorful lines), we should not have seen the global costmap recognizing that new obstacle (the black lines). But instead, we can still see it. Please explain this.
nour alaa : How to change or add values in Costmap ??
Masoumeh Rah : hi, after adding a new object to gazebo, the vehicle cannot bypass it, and it hits the object, why??
Sony X95J 4k TV Review - Best local dimming TV? (XR-65X95J, XR-75X95J, XR-85X95J)
The Sony X95J is a 4k TV with an LED backlight and full-array local dimming feature. Released as part of Sony's 2021 BRAVIA XR lineup, it's Sony's flagship 4k LED model and replaces the Sony X950H. It delivers an impressive experience, with excellent peak brightness in HDR, an amazing local dimming feature, and amazing gradient handling. Like many flagship LED-backlit models from different brands, it has an additional filter layer that improves viewing angles, but this comes at the expense of contrast, which is a bit low for a VA TV. Like the Sony X90J, it can't quite display a wide color gamut, but we don't expect most people to notice this.

Sabo_ 97 : For me the X95J is the better TV in a mid bright room between X95J and QN95A. The local dimming and the Dolby Vision together with price difference of 500€ does clear up all discussion in my opinion. I am referring to the 75" model btw. and the QN90A here in germany is named QN95A
GI Chow : Loving the histograms showing how the TV compares to others you've tested. Would like to have seen a quick comparison against the previous equivalent model (X95H) so we can decide which is better value.
Major Kursk : Very happy to see Daniel back doing reviews. Great new look going on there.
Blooming and lack of zones on this X95j makes it hard to justify buying, let alone the disastrous release of Sony's VRR software release causing havoc on many Sony models. Most reviewers are warning people not to download, especially people who own the X900h model.
Robert FromOC : Have you ever looked at how dark the TV panels are when turned off? I used to manage a store much like a Best Buy, but a lot busier. I noticed when I opening that the TV's along the wall were different, some panels looked lighter than others, more grayish. Then I realized that none of those TVs will ever show a black darker than what the panel looks like turned off. I would think that would be a fast way for people to check potential black levels when in the store.
Crash Override : Tight review as always Maybe the only thing that is left to analyze and review , its the software estability of each brand O.S. (You know...Glitches, bugs with apps, resets, crashes, freezes, etc.)
