오늘은 세상에 딱 하나밖에 없는 옷을 소개할게요!
제가 얼마 전 의상실에서 수트 한 벌 맞췄거든요.
저는 퇴임식 때 오드리 헵번 스타일의 트위드 소재 수트를 입겠노라 오래전부터 생각해왔거든요. 은퇴 후의 삶이 더 빛났던 헵번을 닮고 싶은 마음이랄까요 :)

트위드 하면 생각나는 브랜드는 샤넬이죠? 그런데 샤넬 옷들은 제가 입기에 너무 화려하더라고요~
저는 지방시 스타일의 깔끔한 디자인을 더 선호하거든요. ㅎㅎ 트위드 소재를 활용하되 제 스타일을 살려 제작을 의뢰했습니다.
펄이지엥 스타일로 해석한 수트는 어떤 느낌인지 한 번 보실래요~~?

뎌잣 : 실링왁스 진짜 중앙에 딱 찍어주시는분 많이 없던데 이렇게 보니까 너무 편안하다...
Rae Rohan : Tip: there are a lot of very specific (and expensive!) materials that this video recommends you get. But you can actually make substitutions using household products for many of these. Yes, the result won't be as nice - however, if you're curious and want to try wax stamping before committing to expensive equipment, or you want to practice a bit before using the expensive stuff, then you'll find these substitutions handy.

Stamp: You can actually use rubber stamps (the kind you would use with ink) for stamping. Note that rubber will not cool down as fast as metal, so after pressing the stamp on the wax, let go of it and leave it there for a few minutes before lifting it.
Wax: You can make your own wax using two parts candle wax/crayon and one part glue gun stick (cut your materials into similar-sized pieces before you start). This will make a supple wax, which is suitable for mailing. You can mix glitter into it too. Don't use the chunky kind, obviously. If it's too runny or is bubbling, you're overheating it. Wait for it to cool a bit before pouring and stamping.
Stove: Completely unnecessary. You can use just the candle. The stove is good for convenience; you can judge the heat better and you can put the spoon down while the wax melts. It's also a little safer with the stove. But it's not essential.
Spoon: Of course, you can just use a normal spoon. But this is actually one of the materials that would be better to get. As ARA mentioned, you should use a metal spoon with a wooden handle for safety. I doubt that everyone has a spoon like that which is also big enough to hold the wax. And of course it's easier to pour with the wax-specific spoon.

The non-essential items are all basically household already. I just wanted to mention that if you don't want to use a dinner plate in place of the marble plate for whatever reason, you can just put some parchment paper onto a clipboard (or other hard surface if you're not worried about slippage). It does have to be parchment paper though - don't use wax paper! The wax paper will stick to your hot wax seals. Parchment paper won't

As I said, these substitutions are good for those who are just want to try stamping out, or want to practice before using the actual supplies. If you want to do stamping for an event, like a wedding, you should stick to the stuff that's made for this purpose. Asides from the parchment paper; that'll work no matter if you're using commercial wax or homemade.
