Canon ir 2870 driver installation:
If you want to install Canon 2870 on your PC,
Write on your search engine IR 2870 download and select the first item in the list iR2870 - Canon Europe and this is the link of the page:

Select your operating system and English language
When you scroll down you find out a big list.
Choose Canon PCL5e/5c, PCL6 Printer Driver v15
First method:
The easy way to install the copier is to choose a network installation if you have a network router, and it's important that the copier and the PC are connected to the router, otherwise the driver won't install.
The copier name will pop up in the table, click on it and click Add, and then click on the next button to install the driver.
Second method:
If you don’t have network router, select the third item “Install with USB connection” and connect the USB cable and turn on the copier, the copier will be recognized automatically and installation driver will start.
*After installation, you can check the copier by going in the start button at the bottom left corner of the desktop, click on “printers and faxes” and you will find your copier ready to print.

Alester : We have a problem with our IR 2870. It was connected via lan to pc with Win Xp on it and everything was fine. Now we trying to connect it to pc with Win 7 (both 32 and 64) and win 8 (x64). I found a driver on official site for all of this systems, it`s installs fine, find my printer and everything looks fine, but it just doesnt print. Then i try to print something it makes some noizes (like warming up) and there is nothing happen. Print task in OS is completed. By the way scaning with scangear on win 7 x64 works fine.

Dear friends to configure scanner in canon ir2270/ir2870 follow to given step and please see video till end to learn full configuration.
1- create a folder on pc or server
2- share this folder with full permission to created user or everyone.
3-you need to know ip address of printer.
4-Open any browser on pc and type ip-address in browser address bar to login printer.
5-Go in address book then click on one touch screen button.
6-Here you select number for configuration.
7- then choose file in types.
8-Next fill all option and then summit the configurations
