IR 2135TIMAX Rebuild

This video is a complete overhaul of the Ingersoll-Rand 2135 TiMax impact wrench using two kits. This is my first edited video, so it is amateur. Please excuse poor camera positions and lighting. All comments on video production and task at hand are welcome.

2 bearings, orings, gaskets, grease tube, and

Edson Silva da costa Silva da Costa : Awesome impact MyBest.Tools Takes tires off in a second. Plenty of power for what I’ve used it for - rotating tires. Using it on 3rd setting for removal and 2nd setting for tightening lugs.

Dennis Eastman : I do this every day for a living. You did a great job. The only thing I would advise is to use petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on the O-rings and inlet seals. I always over lubricate the rotor blades as well with plenty of air tool oil. I also put the entire motor assembly together before I put it into the housing.

Ok I have IR Impact wrench too but that pin I hate for exactly the same reason haha - if you put the model number in the title and tag it too it will be in the algorithm searches . Best reviews are reviews of items the pros actually use . Do more reviews of the tools you like and use and long term use tools as well. Well done bud.

I just ordered the IR2135XPA I cant wait to get it and start using it I also bought a protective boot for it . the snap on mg725 is way to heavy and loud and so over priced on the truck they sell for over 500.00 dolars not worth the money
1971ufcfan : I just came across your vid because I'm needing a new gun for the shop and been looking at the Ingersoll for a while.We actually have 2 snapon guns just like yours, they are the MG725.They have been good guns, but both have been rebuilt twice and just aren't the same. And Ingersol Rand has upped their game in the Pnuematic tool market and are making some of the strongest tools out right now. Just like how Milwaukee is taking over the cordless tool section.

Since you seem to be into creeping featurism :-) you could design the board to accommodate both the off-the-shelf learning remote part and your implementation of it (and only populate one or the other).
Clockworks.ie : Hi Leo. Loving the channel. I made up a little customised TV-B-Gone unit with on/off codes for some touring exhibitions I had been working on. It allowed the invigilator to just walk into the middle of the show and press a button to turn all screens on or off. The Rememberizer is much nicer. It would be great as a shield. You could build up a library of commands and make sequences. Nice simple Scratch-like UI... Sorry, creeping on the features! Shield!
