Motorhome Hilly Adventure. Day 4.  ATS 100 Radio Test. Review Ham Radio.

Yesterday we done too much walking in the Sun. So today was a relaxing day doing a lot of nothing at the Caravan Park. It gave me a chance to play with the pocket size ATS 100 general Coverage radio. Not bad reception using its Telescopic Aerial in the middle of nowhere. I am not sponsored in anyway. Future Radio Videos planned.

Tom Mason : Hi, Nice review. Does this little radio cover the 5mhz aero band (5505, 5649 etc) and does it have any memories ?

Not thinking of the ATS 100 for now but interesting radio future

Tony Magnier : Interesting it's pretty much the ATS-25 in a handy pocket form factor plus it's probably priced a bit too high to be a good general seller. I've seen an ATS-25C with a ferrite bar for MW/LW. You're right though, the Belka-DX looks like a better proposition for procurement.

Bob Lewen : Gilles, I’ve been enjoying the quality of the audio and ease of operation of the Belka-DX. The clarity with headphones or good earbuds is amazing. It works very well with it’s whip antenna, but really impressive with the MLA-30 loop. You’d be impressed. 73’s Bob N2VOI.
