How to Replace the Plastic Nozzle - Markforged Desktop

Markforged printers use a plastic extrusion nozzle to deposit either White Nylon or Onyx, a composite material made of Nylon and chopped carbon fiber. Because of the abrasive nature of the printing process, especially when printing with Onyx, the plastic extruder nozzle requires inspection and periodic replacement. This video demonstrates the proper procedure for replacing the nozzle and describes the necessary steps to put the printer back into full operation. Updated printer software keeps an internal counter for important maintenance items so the process to reset the internal counter is also shown.

spartygrad89 : Just wondering why you don't sell replacement inserts for the Maxi Paw sprinklers? We have to buy the whole setup despite the fact we are just replacing the insert because it stopped spinning. So all the plastic that will never be used just goes to a landfill forever.
