@pslgreg : From 1972 to 1973, I had a 67 GTO as my first car. I was 15, without a drivers license. I got over 100 traffic tickets. Memories.
@JoeySvitek : God, I love the sound of carbureted V8s. Such a beautiful car!
@Bubbmann : it's one thing to have a car that sounds awesome, it's another to be able to capture that sound with a legit camera. whoever did what with this video, it sounds absolutely fantastic.
@mister.dynamite : Those are one of the coolest set of taillights I have witnessed!
@mehmetmutluoglu1542 : Such an elegant car and looks so sporty at the same time. I don't like lifted rears but this looks great to me. Some designs are not just cars, they are ornaments and GTO is one of them.

@DonaldSeymourjr : You created a Dodge. Good job. But I kinda like it.
@user-ei7zv8uu1y : The GTO needed to be more aggressively styled, and though it was based on a fairly conservative design, the HSV version demonstrated that it could be done. I was working at Holden during the GTO project, and some of the design proposals were amazing. A particular stand-out had 4 round headlights (predating Challenger) set into a retro grill, broken up by the Pontiac logo that led into a crease-line running the length of the hood, with scoops either side. Suprisingly however, the Americans insisted on the most conservative option, which I feel gave the car a jellybean quality. They wanted something that would fit in with the rest of their vehicle portfolio, rather than creating a standout design. The success of the Camaro, Challenger and Mustang that followed, proved that this was a flawed strategy.
@SaltyCracker402 : Looks amazing, RIP to Pontiac and all other legendary car brands like Oldsmobile and all others that we lost during the financial crisis of 2008
@MaxsterGaming : love to see the holden recognition from you mate! would love to see more of these australian made cars redesigned on your channel.
@82hellas : The ‘05-06 GTO is my favorite car of all time. Your redesign looks amazing. I would personally keep the small spoiler from the previous version. It adds a little bit of sporty-ness to the look. I would buy this in a heartbeat.
