Carsten : The big eye catcher is the silencer !!!! Looks like a flame thrower or a vase to fit just one flower from the Egyptians

Henry Moreland : Sweet as. stick a shroud on it ( instead of the D o ) that's the only improvement I can think of.

Andrew Llewellyn : It's a real shame brocock discontinued all there guns in favour of the compact. They had some great designs. This one is very similar to the very desirable falcon fn12. If they produced this with a reg to get more shots I'm sure it would be popular with those looking for something compact keeping traditional lines.

Raymond Yee : Well....in my opinion....there are worse things to get caught in your pistol
Mika Aalto : Not even Gamo guns like Gamo pellets. How sad.
Matthew Doye : Looks to be a good buy for a first serious pistol after stepping up from a club gun. The ability to shape the grip exactly at that price is excellent.
The synthetic grips on the other pistols are fine if they fit exactly but few hands will, a target pistol doesn't need the styling nor does a single shot need a safety when you're going to charge, load, and fire.
jam3727 : I have the original ASI compact which is at least 20 years old now. It does look slightly better on the grip. I find it really comfortable to shoot. I recently got it out again for my son to use and was pleasantly surprised it still puts pellet on pellet at 6-10m and over the chrono has still held its power. I tried many flat head pellets through it when target shooting and Hobby always came out on top! Great for me as they were one of the cheapest. Great review as always

Richard Dixon : Mrs AAR gets her T shirt stuck , So it's not just Me then ! , I usually manage to get My shirt sleeve stuck in a similar manner at least once per session whilst using My HW40 , but Mrs AAR is a far better shot with a pistol than I am ( so are My Wife & youngest daughter for that matter ) Thanks for the revue , Stay Safe & Stay Well .

The the trigger take-up adjustment doesn't work (screw too short) yet Gamo hasn't fixed the design flaw but still advertise the feature.
The pistol is plastic. Now firearm makers like Glock have used polymers extensively in their guns without problems. Firearm polymers are designed to handle tremendous shock and pressure and the Glock has proven to be extremely durable and reliable. The Gamo compact on the other hand is made of CHEAP plastics. The two that I had has cracks in the frame and one has a broken spring post (trigger spring) after less than a 100 shots. I
