상봉동 (Feat. 먹자골목) - Walking around Sangbong-dong, Seoul, Korea

Sangbong-dong is a dong, a neighbourhood of Jungnang-gu in Seoul, South Korea.
상봉동(上鳳洞)은 서울특별시 중랑구의 법정동이다. 상봉동은 망우로와 봉화산에 접하고 중앙선 철도가 주거지역을 통과하고 봉화산 주변의 미개발 낙후지역이 일부 남아있어 도시 기반시설이 다소 부족하나, 망우역 주변 개발과 수도권 전철 경의·중앙선 개통으로 발전하고 있다. 상봉동은 상봉1동과 상봉2동으로 구성된다. 최근 평창올림픽 상봉역 캐리로 인해 집값이 조금 뛰었다. 그전에도 상봉동은 중랑구에서 집값이 가장 비싼 동네이다. 이유는 우선 중랑구에서 가장 발달한 동네이다. 최근에는 상봉터미널을 앞으로 코스트코, 이마트, 홈플러스가 바로 옆에서 서로를 경쟁한다. 마트 삼파전이다... 이렇게 상권이 매우 발달한 곳이다. 또한 고급 고층 주상복합 아파트인 듀오트리스에 사람들의 입주가 이어지고 있다. 앞으로도 상봉터미널 뒤로 대형 아파트 단지와, 주상복합 단지의 건설이 기획되어 있어 향후의 전망이 기대되는 동네이다.
