Solid wood is difficult to handle, so MDF is mainly used to manufacture furniture. Instead of the regular MDF, FORESCO manufactures color boards made by using pine tree fiber and eco-friendly dye. Its processability is more superior than the products of other companies as this company's color boards are dyed in the fiber phase. In addition, the color boards are flame retardant and do not emit a lot of toxic gas and smoke when they burn.

취급이 까다로운 원목 대신, 가구 제작 전반에 사용되는 MDF. 포레스코에서는 일반 MDF와는 달리 소나무 섬유에 친환경 천연염료를 착색한 컬러보드를 생산하고 있다. 섬유 단계에서 염색을 한 덕분에 타제품보다 가공성이 뛰어나다. 또한 방염기능도 갖추고 있어 화재 시 유독가스와 연기가 적고 불에 잘 타지 않는다.

hongkongfui hongkongfui : Beautiful! Congratulations! @Vitten I see that you have used Forescolor and also Valchromat in previous furniture. Could I ask you if there are major differences between both products, I have used Valchromat and it is far superior than standard MDF –or even other colored MDFs– Is it Forescolor similar? Allow me another question, which thickness you would normally use for carcasses, it is quite heavy compared with other materials and 19mm seems to be quite thick for cabinetry, right?
