ᄋᄑᄋ : 방송 기믹으로 하시네 이 사람이ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 시작하자마자 냅다 나레이션 나와서 잠깐 3초 정도 뇌정지 와서 이게 뭔가 싶었잖아요ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
T J : this is such a smart and funny vlog on so many levels. if you don’t know him at all and take it at face value (for as long as that’s possible) he seems like some inspirational influencer dude, but it’s such an obvious parody of that impossible naturally effortless and aesthetically pleasing life where you make your own coffee, just have really nice hair for no reason, work overtime and still have the time to play the guitar and go outside for a drive and sit by the river and try a new hobby :D his comments about doing it EvErY dAy and it’s his “daily life” (lol we all know you spend half of your days at ebs or in the car on the way there)… (and the fact that he doesn’t do some of the things, such as the coffee, the package with the felting tools was sent by himself, and that he doesn’t actually like riding in boats shows that he’s poking fun at the influencers who try to make you think it’s possible to do it all while looking like an actor from a movie without trying). but he’s not mean-spirited in any way, and also sort of playing along (showing himself from flattering fanservice-y angles lol) and testing this impossible vlogger life, and putting genuine effort into making it aesthetically pleasing and calming to watch and listen to. for someone who’s tired and actually just wants a calming vlog with a few chuckles and pretty scenery, it is that too. i have no doubt it could be comfortable to watch after a stressful workday, both in an escapism way, and seeing that even an idol is a real person who doesn’t live a flawless life. i also appreciate that he shows the mishaps, like his things almost flying away from him, and the far from picture perfect (but very cute) fox doll he makes… it’s both like a commentary and parody video on influencer culture and idol boyfriend roleplay culture, but in a very sweet and silly way, where he’s obviously not trying to make anyone feel bad, and nor is he taking himself seriously and acting like it’s above it. he shows himself making many mistakes and jokes about his own habits too ;) overall a really fun video ! thank you, shinwon! you’re such a gem, lol.
