Well-blazered Man : How on earth could you have slept well with just 4 pillows? Not tempted to visit SP but your review did a good sell of the area. BA? One of my favourites - the city, that is, not the airline.
Brilliant But Blue : "light switches where you would expect them to be....." you speak my language! Recently spent a few nights at Park Hyatt Melbourne, unfortunately l left my Physicist degree at home which resulted in me needing to call reception at bedtime and then waiting for them to send maintenance up to show me how to turn off the 378 lights which seemed to all run on an individual circuit (nope master switch didn't switch them all off) because even reception had no idea how to!! That was my only fault though but seriously put the switch exactly where it should be as one would expect rather than me having to guess that if l tap the clock three times in quick succession while standing on my head to the left of the bed that this should turn off all the lights (exaggeration)!! I lay there wondering who would eventually figure out that if you tapped the free-standing quartz looking clock with Roman numerals on the bed side stand that it would actually (factual) turn all the lights off and on pure genius or stupidity the jury's still out♀️ Rant over, the Hotel looked more "Grand" than the actual named Grand Hotel in your last review agree the rooms would look much more spacious with floor to ceiling windows but l truly don't think there is much they can do about this because of the structural design. Hearing you on the bed, when you get one of those that feels like you are sleeping on a cloud it really is unforgettable, shame you had to check out at 3am
