How to sew your own DVF dress Pt. 1 (using McCall's 6884) /랩원피스 만들기 1편 [DIY sewing 미싱]
We're on a mission to find the perfect pattern that makes a wrap dress as good as DVF! McCall's 6884 is the first pattern of many more to come under this tag! It is extremely easy to make with only 4 elements to put together and because it is sewn with knit fabric, the fit is so easy as well. You won't need to make much adjustment. The only thing is that the front is cut pretty low that I needed to add a snap in the front to close the gaping. But it is a quick and minor fix. I'm mostly happy how it turned out, what do you think?

DVF 못지 않은 랩 원피스를 직접 만들어 입고 싶다면 한 번 도전해보세요. 차차 여러 랩 원피스 도안을 소개해 드릴게요. 첫 번째로 맬켈 6884번 도안입니다. 도안이 아주 간단하고 쉬운 편이에요. 니트 원단으로 만들기 때문에 피팅도 문제 없이 쉽답니다. 딱 한 가지 걸리는 부분은 앞섬이 너무 낮게 파여져 자꾸 벌어졌기 때문에 스냅을 달아주었어요. 그 부분만 빼면 아주 훌륭한 도안이에요. 만들어 보세요~

We're revisiting Sewing your own DVF series in a long while! This is our third pattern under this tag and I can say this is my absolute favorite so far. I love the long and slim sleeve, love the waist ties are not so overwhelming, love the slight tulip shape of skirt and that there's absolutely no gaping in the front.
The finished dress is elegant, classic and mature I love it so much and I highly recommend this pattern to everyone!
Just one thing I'd like to point out is the pocket assembly. I've demonstrated the method suggested in the instruction but it is absolutely not necessary to go through such hassle! Simply attach the pocket to the skirt flat first, flip out the pockets flat then sew the side seams of skirt pivoting at the pocket (as we've done millions of times already!). If you'd like to open the seams, clip into one seam at the top and bottom of pocket and you will have exactly the same result as what the pattern instruction suggests.
The sample in the video was made with ITY knit.
I hope anyone looking for a good wrap dress pattern really tries this one out. Also, named clothing has a range of quality patterns in their shop check them out!

안녕하세요? 오랜만에 랩원피스를 만들어 보았어요. 정말 마음에 드는 패턴이에요. 소매 길이도 적당하고 치마도 살짝 튤립 모양이에요. 허리를 묶는 타이도 과하지 않고 무엇보다 앞이 벌어지지 않아서 너무 좋아요.
예쁜 랩 원피스 도안을 찾고 계신 분이라면 꼭 한 번 만들어 보세요 강추입니다.
단 한 가지, 패턴 설명서에는 포켓 붙이는 법이 굉장히 복잡하게 되어 있는데요 일반적인 방법으로 포켓 다는 것과 똑같은 결과만 나오니까 구지 이 방법으로 할 필요는 없는 것 같아요. 저는 혹시 뭐가 다른가 하고 시키는대로 해봤습니다 ^^;
포켓 조각을 치마 조각에 붙이고 반대 편으로 뒤집어서 치마 옆선 박음질 할때 같이 박음질 하면 됩니다. 다른 원피스 만들기에서 많이 해 본 방법 그대로요. 반드시 시접을 펼쳐야만 하겠다! 한다면 한쪽 시접에 가위집만 내 주면 됩니다 ^^
