라 메르세드는 과테말라 치말테낭고의 작은 마을인 산마르틴 질로테페케에 위치한 농장으로 알부레즈 가문의 3세들에 의해 운영이 있습니다. 100년이 넘는 역사를 가진 라 메르세드 농장은 1832년 옥수수와 콩을 경작하는 것을 시작으로 1912년 Carlos Ortega Alburez에 의해 첫 번째 커피 나무를 심었습니다. 라 메르세드 농장에서는 Shade Tree를 이용해 강한 바람을 막아 열매의 맛과 모양을 유지해 훌륭한 커피를 생산하고 있습니다. Carlos의 자녀와 손주들은 이 전통을 유지하기 위해 헌신하고 있습니다. 그 결과 과테말라 CoE에 수 차례 입상하는 듯 과테말라 커피를 대표하는 농장으로 자리매김하고 있습니다.

1.프렌치 프레스에 분쇄원두 18g을 담아주세요.
-EK43 기준 7
2.93도의 물 40g을 넣어 30초간 뜸을 들여주세요.
3.이후 93도의 물 220g을 넣고, 원두가 잘 섞일 수 있도록 골고루 저어주세요.
4.3분이 되면 플랜저를 끼고 원두가루가 떠오르지 않게 조심스럽게 눌러줍니다.
5.미리 예열된 컵에 옮겨서 즐겨주세요.

Today we are exploring Mexico's craziest market, La Merced in Mexico City, Mexico. Most locals in CDMX will tell you not to go to this mercado in Mexico City and even some Mexican locals don't go there themselves. It's one of Mexico's most important markets however were thousands of goods and foods pass through. Some people say this area in Mexico City is not Safe for tourists. When it comes to Mexico City and its safety we have felt very comfortable in CDMX. And just like every city in Mexico, we always seem to see the friendliest locals.

This Mexico City Market was one of the highlights of our Mexico Trip in 2022. We will be trying plenty of Mexican Street food, as well as showing you around this extremely hectic market that has so much to offer! People warned us about going to La Merced. They told us not to visit MEXICO'S CRAZIEST MARKET. We were warned that we may get lost in the maze. Our friends were concerned that the number of people could overwhelm us. We were cautioned that we may even get run over by a car. But we decided to accept this challenge. Because we LOVE markets. And we had to see this place for ourselves.
