We brought out the #SilhouetteAlta 3D printer today for Maker Studio to make these cookie cutters and cookie stamp using this adorable Parisian house design.

can I ask where did you buy the amazing rolling pin?
dcrrdr : to get the dough to release - spray the cutter with Pam and dip it in flour before cutting chilled or frozen dough.
Janelljos : If you do the impression first and then cut the cookie it won’t get distorted. Also if the dough is nice and chilled it’ll hold its shape better. Also I’ve learned on the software if you use the rotate tool it rotates more accurate. Can’t wait to see more Alta videos.

Keith Kritselis : PLA and ABS filaments are NOT food safe plastics. You can buy Polypropylene filament that is food safe, but none of them are dishwasher safe. Cleaning them by hand cannot guarantee a sterile cutter due to the layer line ridges.

This technique is great for playdough, but I would be cautious with consumables.
