Cam takes a look back at one of his personal favorites: The BlackBerry Pearl 3G. It wasn't the most popular, or most hyped device BlackBerry has ever released, but its small form factor, amazing battery and great keyboard combined to make a phone that was practically perfect for Cam.

I never had a Blackberry back when they were popular, so this was my first experience with one. It was a nice phone with a great screen, but it was just a little too plasticky for me to really like it. The operating system was a little shonky too.

I may check out a later Blackberry model in a later video.... any recommendations??

coolstorybro : @ElGabo131 I also own a 9700 and I think that the only major difference between the two is the the size (screen and device itself) and the suretype keypad on pearl vs. the qwerty keypad on the bold... previous to the bold 9700 I owned a pearl 8100 and grew fond of the suretype keypad but now with the bold i hardly miss it.. I guess it all depends on prefence, I myself will wait till July 4th when they release OS6 for all newer bb devices and i'll install in on my bold.
