Fits your hand well! - iFace MPlus Magnetic iPhone 7 Case Review
This iFace case is oddly shaped and it’s designed in Korea. In fact, I think Hamee shares the same offices as Patchworks does. I’ll be honest with you, the iFace case isn’t a highly rated case but I’ve given them to enough people to know that they work well. Anytime somebody asks about a magnetic car mount case, I usually throw them an iFace case. Literally.
The standout feature of the case is the shape. I would say it ergonomically fits in your hand regardless of iPhone size. During my last vacation to Japan, I actually noticed that lots of people had cases that had the same shape. Here’s another case that I have no idea of the brand but it follows the same contours.
For my iFace First Class Review, I’ve given this case a score of 3.8 Eh’s out of 5. What lowers the score of the case is the size of the case but since it isn’t uniform you don’t really notice it. So it’s going to be a 3.8+ Eh’s out of 5. What saves the case are the little extras that Hamee has included with the case.
If you’re looking for similar products, check out my review for the Evutec Aergo, Mophie Hold Force and the Spigen Thin Fit 360. Out of these three cases, you need to check out the Thin Fit 360...it is my favourite.

Now Hamee, the case manufacturer sent me a big box of cases several months ago. I lied. Closer to 8 months but I totally forgot about them until I was going through my case drawer and realized there was a small stockpile of iFace cases.
When it comes to design, the iFace case looks different. It is fat at the top and bottom and skinny in the middle. The back is completely slick which isn't great. In addition to the slickness, it will scratch quite easily and slide around like an air hockey puck.
The weight of the case isn't too noticeable and despite the slick back, the handling isn't bad due to the unique shape of the case.
For protection, the iFace isn't officially drop-rated but due to the thicker corners, I'm quite confident that the case will offer the iPhone a decent amount of accidental drop protection.
The edges of the case are a bit shallow so a thick screen protector might not work well with the case. The case fits tightly together so dust and debris won't be an issue.
For functionality, the buttons on the case are surprisingly easy to use. The iFace has an magnet built into the back of the case so it mounts to any magnetic car mount though the one you get with the iFace premium plus case works quite well. I've been able to use it with other mag mounts as well. I will note that the IFace mount has a extra joint in the mount so your device can be turned towards you in the car.
The case also allows for a wrist strap which is handy as well so those who are concerned about the slick back won't have to worry as much about it. Screen accessibility is great due to the low edges and despite the thick bottom, any third party cable should fit.
One handed usage is above average due to the shape of the case.
